Os 10.6

Perhaps you have 10.5.8 instead of Snow Leopard.

Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) is an operating system developed by Apple and the seventh major release of Mac OS X. This version removed support for the PPC architecture due to Apple's intent to support Intel processors. It is also the last version to use Rosetta, and thus the last version to run PPC-only applications.

Unlike previous versions of OS X, which had progressively decreasing prices since 10.6, 10.9 was available at no charge to all users of compatible systems running Snow Leopard (10.6) or later, beginning Apple's policy of free upgrades for life on its operating system and business software. Version 10.10: 'Yosemite'. Note: If you have Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) or 10.6 (Snow Leopard), you will need to download OS X El Capitan before you can upgrade to the latest Mac OS. While insecure versions of Firefox will continue to work on OS X 10.8 and earlier, using an up-to-date version of Firefox on a supported version of Mac OS will provide you with the best and safest. Do you have an early edition Intel Mac or a Mac that you don't want to or can't upgrade past Snow Leopard? This video is perfect since you can see whether yo. The OS itself is fine. & Amazon processing was fine. What is not OK is the built in obsolesce from Apple and terrible phone support. I was told by the 'Apple Guru' that you could buy 10.7 (skip 10.6) and then upgrade to the latest from 10.7.

How would one go about creating a 10.6.8 bootable USB drive?

My job has 20-25 Macbook Pros ranging from 2009-2011 models. The orignal disks are not available for many of these machines. I have a retail 10.6.3 Snow Leopard disk, but this does not work on the newer model Macbook Pros if they need to be reimaged.

10.6.1

I would like to image one of the newer Macbook Pros, install all the updates and then create an image that I can use to boot from.

What would be the best solutions to make this happen?
