Freshman Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is an 'absentee landlord' in her home state and residents aren't happy, Minneapolis police officer and congressional candidate Chris Kelley said Thursday. The latest tweets from @ArmandoSalguero. Omar herself has had a tumultuous two-year run in Congress dominated by headlines about her soap-opera personal life. The 37-year-old earlier this year married her political consultant, with whom.

Danielle Stella says she was banned for a tweet in which she spread a baseless claim about Omar and said if the claim is true, Omar should be tried for treason and hanged, according to a post to her Facebook account. Two Twitter accounts of Stella’s have been suspended, her campaign confirmed to CNN.
The Minnesota freshman was elected last year and is the first Somali-American member of Congress, and she and Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan are the first two Muslim women ever elected to Congress. Omar has been at the center of numerous controversies since being sworn into Congress, including making comments criticizing US support for Israel that were seen as invoking anti-Semitic tropes and stereotypes.
In a statement to CNN, Stella strongly criticized Twitter for the suspension and its policies.
Stella, who is not the only Republican looking to unseat Omar, describes herself as a special education needs professional. She writes on her campaign website that “as a result of the lack of honorable representation for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district, I believe it is my duty and privilege to stand up and speak for the forgotten American citizens in the District and throughout the state.”

Not guilty. Danielle can use my Twitter account.
and said if the claim is true, Omar should be tried for treason and hanged,
frankly, are are plenty of reasons Omar should be tried for treason and hanged
She is being accused of two counts of shoplifting at two different stores.

Omar Kelly T
Poor thing. She’s just a little high-strung is all.
Needs a nice foot rub and a gentle hug.
Married her brother?
though Ilhan Omar did marry her brother.
So they are that worried that the claim is true and are protecting her.
Why do people use companies like this?
Then omar should not have done what she did. Too bad for her.
The United States needs to become a hell of a lot more discriminating about who they allow to become U.S. citizens.

Thanks. It looks like @RyanAFournier on twitter post was also removed saying that Omar was recruited by a foreign government (Qatar)
What? And make it harder to become a citizen.
But, but, but, how else are dems going to destroy this country?
14 Jul 2016: Vox: In case you missed the memo, Silicon Valley leaders really hate Donald Trump
A bunch of tech execs signed a new letter condemning the Republican candidate.
By Noah Kulwin
For many leaders of Silicon Valley, the 2016 election cycle is an exercise in how many ways they can say that they don’t like Donald Trump.
While a lot of them do really like Hillary Clinton and other Democratic establishment figures, Trump is really their bête noire. Here’s the latest example of how much the captains of tech loathe the Republican candidate: A letter on Medium signed by a bunch of tech executives outlining their contempt for the guy.
The relatively short letter was posted to Medium by former Twitter exec Katie Jacobs Stanton, who also used to work in Hillary Clinton’s State Department, and it levels criticisms that have been well aired in public...
“We have listened to Donald Trump over the past year and we have concluded: Trump would be a disaster for innovation.”...

***Wikipedia: Alec Ross (author)
During the 2008 presidential campaign, Ross played a key role in developing then-Sen. Barack Obama’s technology and innovation plan, convening more than 500 advisors in the process of cultivating the candidate’s innovation agenda...
In April 2009, Ross joined the State Department as Senior Advisor on Innovation. Hillary Clinton described his work by saying that “Alec Ross has been my right hand on all that we’re doing for internet freedom.” Alex helped institute a solid Democratic base in the State Dept that would last long after he and Hillary left. Worked with Hillary Clinton instituting Civil Society 2.0 to create revolution and regime change in other countries starting in 2009...

No wonder President Trump is having such a hard time. The rats have become so entrenched in government that swamp draining maybe impossible without massive firing of all personnel. But then firing a government “worker” is next to impossible. This is very disturbing.
She needs help.
But Stella has faced criminal charges of her own. In January she was arrested on felony shoplifting charges after she allegedly stole 279 items valued at $2,327.97 from an Edina Target. According to a criminal complaint, Stella scanned only $50 worth of items at a self-checkout before leaving the store. She told officers she remembered “arriving at Target to purchase items but nothing else due to her PTSD,” the complaint said.
Just over three months later, Stella was arrested again. On April 28, security staff at a Cub grocery in Bloomington called police after witnessing Stella steal $40 worth of cat food and supplies at a self-checkout, according to the police report. Stella told an officer she forgot to pay for the food.
The campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Star Tribune.

[05/06/20] -- Don Shula has Moved On
The biggest Dolphins' News event of this year has been the passing of Coach Don Shula. I have been thinking a lot lately about what Don Shula meant to me, personally, not just as a football coach but as an icon of integrity, hard work, and success. For so many years, he WAS the Miami Dolphins and an example of the best we could all be. I often felt that he couldn't die - that he was indestructible and immortal and would always be there to support theMiami Dolphins.
I like to think that, with the new coaching staff and this year's draft, Coach Shula felt that the team was back in good hands again and that his work was finally done.
Rest in Peace, Coach. The world and the game will be smaller without you.
Our exclusive columnist, Chris Shashaty, also shares his thoughts on Don Shula in his latest column, Shula's Example is his Enduring Legacy.
[04/17/20] -- The 2020 Draft
It has been almost a two years since we've been doing any serious updates to Phins.com, but with the virus keeping us home, we really have absolutely no excuse - so guess what? We have a new article oon the draft from our long time columnist, Chris Shashaty. So please take a look at his take on the draft in his latest article 'Time for the Dolphins to Set a New Cornerstone.
[05/01/18] -- An InterestingOff-Season
The draft is over and the Dolphins have gotten their team for 2018. It's been a very confusing off-season for me as the Dolphins started by letting a number of very high profile players go, including arguably their best offensive and defensive players in Jarvis Landry and Ndamukong Suh. That caused a huge kerfuffle among the fans and pundits, as well it should. It looked like the Dolphins were going to be willing to take huge chances in order to build the team of the future.
But then the draft came along and the Dolphins played it very conservatively. We, of course, can not know what went on in the Dolphins' draft room during the draft, and all of the best quarterbacks were taken before the Dolphins' pick, so we'll probably never know if the Dolphins would have taken a quarterback with the first pick or if they really felt good about Tannehill. But one thing we do know is that most of the picks the Dolphins made were fairly conservative. Generally speaking, the media gave the Dolphins good grades for the high picks and less good grades for the lower picks. I felt pretty much the same way. And today, Phins.com Columnist Chris Shashaty gives us his thoughts on the Dolphins' draft in his latest article Regime Stakes Future on Tannehill, Conservative Draft.
[12/23/17] -- What Next?
Now that the Dolphins have been - for all practical intents and purposes - eliminiated from the playoffs, it is time to talk about the teams's future. One of the biggest questions is whether or not Ryan Tannehill is in the team's long term plans. This week, Phins.com Columnist Chris Shashaty gives us his thoughts on Tannehill's future in today's column Has the Window Closed on Ryan Tannehill?.
[11/07/17] -- Halfway There
The Dolphins are now halfway through the 2017 regular season and I think it's fair to say that things are about as confusing as they ever get down in South Florida for our team. To take a closer look at where we are so far this season, Phins.com Columnist Chris Shashaty examines the state of the team in his latest column: Culture War.
[08/01/17] -- Training Camp is Underway
Training Camp 2017 started last week and while the team has a lot to work on, the biggest weakness the team had last year was the defense. Recognizing this, 5 of Miami's 7 draft picks were on defense. The Dolphins also switched defensive coordinators, adding Matt Burke to replace the departed Vance Joseph.
So, with that in mind, it isn't difficult to see that Miami's defense must have a good training camp, if the Dolphins are to improve their play in the 2017 season. With that in mind, Phins.com Columnist Chris Shashaty gives us his latest thoughts here: Top Priority in Training Camp: Defense

[05/03/17] -- Drafting for the future
Last week, the Dolphins spent most of their draft picks on improving the defense, which makes sense, given the poor overall performance of the defense last year. Also, the offense is a very young and up-and-coming group, whereas key areas of the defense are aging and need upgrades. Following the draft, I heard an interview with Dolphins' General Manager Chris Grier who said that the thing that impressed them most about Charles Harris was how much Harris loved football. And he went on to say that a key characteristic of all the players they drafted was that all the players loved to play football - which sounds like it would be an obvious trait, but often isn't. So more important than 40 times or other amazing stats, the Dolphins drafted blue collar guys - guys who come to work every day to work as hard as they can and who are not as concerned with how many sacks they get as they are in helping the team win. Or, as Phins.com Columnist Chris Shashaty puts it in his latest column, Dolphins Opt for Dirty over Sexy.
